This arch just towered over me!
This was taken in the Yukon, and I thought we had all the beautiful scenes here in the USA.
Light green leaves on the trees in Sedona, Arizona. It took a lot of driving around to be able to get these trees in the foreground.
I was lying down on the forest floor and used my wide angle lens to get this perspective.
A rusty surface appears to be a map of the world!
I think the hawk timed his approach just so he could be included in my composition!
Most of the foreground would've been distracting if I had left the color in it, so I decided to remove that distraction.

The setting sun really accentuates the prickly nature of the saguaro.

She was so busy strumming her guitar she didn't even notice me.
The female duck was not the subject of this photograph, as I just wanted the tree trunk reflection. But I think she adds something to the scene. Do you?
Here are two lovers walking hand in hand on the Oceanside pier in California as the sun sets behind them.
I have been so surprised at all the comments I get on this one. Surprised because I almost didn't include it because of its leafs on just one side of the tree. People must like imperfection.
I would've loved to trade places with that hang glider. Can't imagine the view he had, that I wasn't able to see.
